I have not actually read the manual or gone through the tutorial yet. But coming from EU 2, the interface seems straightforward enough. I've started a game as the Netherlands, with a goal to try this liberalism thing, become diplomatically influential, and make all sorts of goods to make Adam Smith proud. I'm worried about the alliances I've made with some of the German states, Brazil, and Denmark but I think it can work out as long as I'm not dragged into a war they started. I chose not to ally with Prussia when offered, because I understand that there is a historical basis for war.
I was hoping to make Small Arms and alcohol to sell to everyone. Is that possible? My Capitalists seem very interested in starting Canning Factories, whether or not it's because I had decreased troop supply to pay for education I'm not sure. Could I supply all of Europe's armies and profit from it whenever war breaks out?
I like that the Capitalists and Investors do their own thing, but is there a way to suggest or subsidize certain types of factories without having special tech to do it? It was still good to see that. Capitalists seem to be USEFUL in how they manage their own thing so I don't have to, but that could be a double-edged sword should they decide to make something no one wants. IS Canned Foods a pretty shrewd move?
And if anyone could tell me a little bit about the Victorian world as portrayed in the game, that would be helpful. Why do some of the European countries in the game love their Monarchs and military soo much? (97 - 99% Conservative with a heavy pro-military leaning? Whoa!) Looking at some of the countrys' major exports is pretty enlightening. Britain really has the Opium trade down..I HEARD that they were involved something like that but to see an actual figure of some sort was pretty jarring. China seems to manufacture and export some of the best products, but it's weird how the game distinguishes between 'Uncivilized' and 'Civilized' nations. I may need to read up on what they mean. I have a feeling there is something historical about those denotations that may give insight into Europe's views at the time.

Victoria 2 Won T Launch
What's going on here it was working yesterday. Anyways I changed the end date to 9999 and replaced the rebel types file with something else to avoid the million Jacobin rebels problem. But now the game can't start at all, why? Ok it worked yesterday after I edited the rebel types but today it won't start. Facetime for mac. What you need to do here is force the game to launch in windowed mode, but obviously, you can't change that setting in the game since the game won't launch. To work around this problem, right-click Rage 2 in your Steam library and choose Properties, then click Set Launch Options on the General tab. Aryabhishak book free in pdf.
